Purim Party

5:00pm to 8:30pm

Bring your friends to the best Purim celebration in town on Wednesday, Feb 28, early evening at P’nai Or
5:00: Children’s Party! Puppet show, groggers, songs, and a dress-up parade of course. Children of all ages and generations please come!
6:00: Potluck dinner (vegetarian, dairy, fish). Please also bring hamantaschen to share and beverages of your choice to add to our merriment!
6:30: Sing-along with the P'nai Or House Band, followed by the Purimshpiel, written and directed by our own Peter Thacker and Helen Tevlin, including our famous Beauty Pageant!
7:30: Dance to Michelle Alany and the Mystics dance band!
* Throughout the evening, look for Zmira to buy tickets for our 50/50 $$$CASH$$$ raffle. The winner (to be announced after the dance party) will get half the cash taken in from ticket sales, and P’nai Or will get the other half. Tickets will be $5 for one ticket, $10 for 3 tickets, and $20 for a string of tickets as long as your arm! (You can also “borrow” someone else’s arm if you think yours are too short!)
* PLEASE COME IN COSTUME to add to the fun for everyone.
* SW Hope Food Drive: Fulfill one most important mitzvah of Purim by bringing canned or dried food for the SW Hope Neighborhood Food drive barrel. Checks made out to Neighborhood House, memo SW Hope Food drive, will also be very much appreciated.
