P’nai Or (Faces of Light) celebrates the Divine reflected in everyone – LGBTQ+, interfaith, Jews by birth, Jews by choice. We are a vibrant, egalitarian Jewish Renewal congregation founded in 1991 by Rabbi Aryeh Hirschfield, z"l.

Our inspiration comes from Torah, Kabbalah, the teachings of the Chassidic masters, and Jewish and non-Jewish contemporary sources.

We are affiliated with ALEPH: The Alliance for Jewish Renewal, the organizing body founded by Reb Zalman Schacter-Shalomi, z"l.

JOB OPENING: Administrative Assistant at P'nai Or of Portland

P’nai Or of Portland is a vibrant, welcoming, and egalitarian Jewish Renewal congregation in Portland, Oregon, currently seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant .

This position is 40-60 hours per month, flexible schedule, primarily working from home but occasionally needed in person.

The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to our congregation, volunteers, and spiritual leader.

Strong computer skills are a must, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Google Calendar, Google Documents, Google Spreadsheets, Zoom, and troubleshooting. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are necessary for this role, as are excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with Hebrew and Jewish Holidays is preferred.
