Wednesday, May 22, 5:30 p.m. to dark. Lag B’Omer is a festive day on the 33rd of the 49 days we count from Pesach to Shavuot. We’ll celebrate with a potluck picnic, stories, songs, and a bonfire! Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for location.
Come anytime after 5:30 pm to help firemaster Scott McKinley set up the fire. Potluck picnic will start around 6 pm, and then around 7 pm, we’ll have a story swap and music till 9 or 9:30.
* Bring camp chairs if you have them, and your own place setting if possible.
* This is an outdoors potluck; no kitchen prep inside. Bathroom is available inside.
* Story swap theme: As we head from slavery to the freedom and from Chesed to Malchut, is there a story that has come up for you? A moment that somehow connects the present with our collective past? An aha, an epiphany, a chochma flash? We’ll have a chance to share our stories around the fire.
* NOTE: In case of rain, this event will be canceled.
