We welcome your interest in P’nai Or! We’ve been part of the Portland Jewish Community since Rabbi Aryeh Hirshfield founded the congregation in 1991. We are affiliated with Aleph, the Alliance for Jewish Renewal.

P’nai Or members come from all walks of life and all levels of Jewish knowledge, experience and observance. We welcome interfaith families, LGBTQ+, Jews by birth, Jews by choice, Jews of color, couples, singles.

Members enjoy a caring community, services, holidays, Torah study, life cycle events, weekly updates, and collaboration on justice issues.
